1. At which embassy or consulate shall I introduce my visa application?

You should apply for your visa in person at the Belgian embassy or consulate which is competent for  your country of residence, where you will be requested to communicate your travel destination as well as the circumstances of it.

On this page, you'll need to check your details, in order to verify your ability to stay officially in Belgium, so that you have money to live on.

If you're a tourist, you'll need to enter the number of days you'll be staying in the form below.

If you are coming to Belgium to work, you must have money to live on for the first time, until you receive your first salary. If your employer agrees to cover your expenses up to your first salary, he/she must send an official letter to the Uzbek embassy in Belgium.

If you are granted a national visa (type D) and already have an employer, you must have at least 700 EUR in your account for the period of your stay up to your first salary.

Note: representation in the matter of visa only concerns Schengen visa applications  for:

  • Tourist visits
  • Visits to family or friends
  • Cultural or sports manifestations
  • Business trips
  • Short traineeships
  • Transit through the Schengen area

Long stay visa applications (more than 90 days) or short stay visa applications aiming at a longer stay in Belgium (e.g. marriage in Belgium), are not covered by the representation agreement and must hence be lodged with the relevant Belgian embassy or consulate.
